Go Together on Mission
Why do people serve?
In our church we have teams of people serving in all kinds of ways. We commit to being that kind of community.
Why? In Romans 1 the Apostle Paul tells us about his own ministry experience. There are 5 reasons he gives for serving God and people in the way that he did. Then in chapter 12 of his letter he starts talking to the Romans about how they live together and those 5 reasons to invest in ministry are there too. So why should we go together on mission?
Because:
1) We worship God
2) We love people
3) We are clear about our calling
4) We expect a mutual blessing
5) We are confident in the gospel.
