Who really benefits from Christian Mission?
As we celebrate what God has done over the last 12 months and commit to what He’s asking us to do over the next year, we ask some key questions about our going on and giving to mission. Romans chapters 1 to 8 give us a great explanation of the good news about Jesus; and it reveals our salvation as being much more than forgiveness of our sins or a ticket to Heaven. God’s purpose is to make us like Jesus! Whatever else God does through our giving and going, He’s accomplishing that good purpose in those who do the giving and going; and that’s pretty amazing!
