Jason Eow shares a message from Mark 1 about Jesus calling His first disciples. There’s some amazing aspects to this story we can easily miss if we don’t know the culture of the people involved. This story of how Jesus calls Peter, Andrew, James and John gives us a great encouragement about how God graciously calls us to follow Jesus too; and prompts us to think about what that practically means for how we live our lives. Jason’s own experience of being called to serve as a missionary to Japan with his family is a great illustration of the adventure that awaits all those who are willing to hear Jesus’ call.
