Road Trip 9: Converting vs Conforming

In Matthew 23 Jesus delivers a stinging rebuke to religious people who travelled for the sake of mission. Why? And as we celebrate our own mission to the world, could we find ourselves in a similar situation? In this message we explore the difference between true conversion and simply conforming people to a message or tradition that does more harm than good. It’s sobering but also exciting as we’re reminded of the gospel that the Apostle Paul was not ashamed of, because it’s God’s power for the salvation of all who believe it.

As part of this message we watched a video from Common Grace which was made for NAIDOC Week 2025.  Please explore their website at https://www.commongrace.org.au/naidoc_week_2025 for more information and resources.  The longer interviews are also well worth listening to here: https://www.commongrace.org.au/naidoc_podcast_series
