“Is God punishing me?”

That’s a question that many of us have asked when hardships are piling up and God’s help seems far off. In this message Mike picks up from where we’d been looking at the book of Haggai to show that God did discipline the people of Israel in Old Testament times. We explore the reasons for that and then turn to the New Testament to see that the same principle applies in how God deals with His Church.

Being aware of God’s discipline can be a huge help to us, because God’s discipline is always about fulfilling His good purposes for our future, not to penalise us for our past.
