The doctrine of Hell is rarely talked about and often misunderstood. In this message Mike discusses eternal punishment in the context of the Bible’s overall treatment of justice to unpack the two central themes of punishment: exclusion and destruction. We notice that those who reject God’s salvation in Christ all share the same fate of being excluded from eternal life and the anguish of loss that brings. However the active punishment of God on sin (destruction) is unique to each individual and takes into account every single detail so that it is perfectly just.
