Desiring God
Colin Zis shares with us the beautiful prayer of Psalm 27. King David writes of his desire to dwell in God’s house constantly with eyes fixed on God’s beauty and heart secure in Him alone. As Christians we’re invited to share that same heart desire, but we find God’s beauty, majesty and power expressed even more clearly in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the light of the World who reveals God to us. He is the one who we can abide in no matter where on Earth we are. Will we have the faith – like David – to realise that there is nothing worth desiring more than God?
