Deeper
In Psalm 32 King David shows how going deeper into the love of God protects him from any troubles this life can dish out; and he invites us to share that experience. He didn’t start out in that place though – he felt estranged from God and burdened with guilt. With the help of a courageous prophet, David was moved to confess his sin and be restored to the intimacy with God which was his source of strength, peace and joy.
In a similar way, we need people around us who can help us move deeper into God’s love. It’s the invitation to go deeper so that we don’t go under!
