1 Corinthians 1:1-9 – From hostility to hope

As Paul opens his letter to the church at Corinth there’s a beautiful detail that can easily be missed by those of us who weren’t there at the time! In this message we take some time to get to know the origin story of the church, including the opposition against them. As we do that we notice a familiar pattern of God changing lives in dramatic ways, shifting people from a cycle of hostility to a trajectory of healing and hope. It often doesn’t happen without struggle, but the results are always worth it!
As we look at our own personal lives as well as events playing out on the world stage, this is a transformation that is definitely needed!
