1 Corinthians 7 pt1 – Marriage and Sex

In chapter 7 Paul begins applying the principles he’s laid down in the first section of the book to the questions the church wrote to him about. It shouldn’t surprise us that in a city famous for sexual promiscuity and being a melting-pot of cultures; that some of those questions were about sex, marriage and singleness. In this message we take a look at the historical context and how chapter 7 fits with the flow of the letter to understand Paul’s approach as shepherds these Christians through the challenges they’re facing. We zoom in to the first 9 verses which are all about sex in marriage to see how it is so helpful to us today, just as it was to the church in Corinth in the first century.
