Norman’s Story
I love the saying that I once heard – can’t remember who said it, I think it was Andy Stanley – it goes like this:
“One day the present will become your past and show up in your future.”
The line was used in a sermon to young people. I have shared it on many occasions.
Not everyone has a great story, and I am no exception, unfortunately.
The motivation is to live in such a way that you can tell your whole story and not leave any gaps.
I’ll go to my grave never wanting to tell my whole story. I know there are some cringe-worthy things that I do not want people to know.
But I am reminded that one day I will bow before the throne and because of the blood that was shed in the gift of Jesus, I will receive grace and mercy from a loving, caring God who filled in those blanks for me.
