SUNDAY SERVICES

Our Sunday family worship services commence at 9.30am and 4:30pm- all are welcome. 

Our worship services embody the following principles:

  • The supremacy of Jesus Christ - we want our worship to be about God and for God, who has been revealed to us perfectly in Jesus.
  • The solid foundation of Scripture - we believe the divinely authored and preserved testimony of the Scriptures give us a solid foundation to know God and live as His people.  God's written Word has the power to change us to be more like Jesus as the Holy Spirit helps us to understand and apply it.
  • The family of God - we want to make sure that our forms of worship include all those who God has called into fellowship in this part of His family.  The warm fellowship we enjoy during services and as people catch up with each other afterward is an important part of our time together.
  • The body of Christ - we believe every Christian has been created to do good works in Christ, and so we seek to utilise and develop the gifts, talents, maturity and passions of people in contributing to every aspect of the life of our church, including our worship services.
  • The centrality of the gospel - we re-enact the core elements of the gospel - the death of Christ for our sins, His burial and resurrection on the third day - in celebrating communion (the Lord's Supper) each week at our family worship services.  We also emphasise the gospel and our response to it in our weekly teaching programme.

Sunday School
A range of Sunday school activities are run during the service to cater for children of all ages. This provides an opportunity for your child to mix and mingle with children of their own age and learn about God in a fun and safe environment. Our current programs include:

Creche: 1 – 3 years
Splash: 4 – 7 years
X-Stream: 8 – 12 years

We encourage families to participate in our worship service together, with children leaving for Sunday School just prior to the sermon.  There is also a comfortable cry-room for parents to use during the service.

Sermon Recording

For those unable to attend a weekly service there is the opportunity to read or listen to the sermon on our website, subscribe to audio or video in itunes or pick up a DVD or CD from the church foyer.  These can be borrowed or purchased.
