An induction service was held for Michael Birch
on Sunday, 14th February. It was a special morning with a number of
special guests there on the day to share with Michael, Carolyn and
their family. Thank you to all those who took part. |
| WINGS Event: "Where is the Love" |
|
On Saturday, 13th February, our women's group WINGS
(Women in God's Service) hosted a breakfast at Kingsley
Church of Christ commencing at 8.30am. Women of all ages were in
attendance and were treated to a scrumptious breakfast and time of
sharing. Stay tuned for the next women's event. |
| Christmas Carols and Festival |
|
On Sunday, 13th December, members of the Kingsley
community enjoyed a festival and Christmas carols evening at Creaney
oval. Commencing at 4pm there were rides, food, music and
other children’s and family activities available.

| Chaplathon |
| On Saturday,
7th November, a fundraising event
called Chaplathon was held at the Carine Open Space. Funds raised by Kingsley Church of Christ from the event went to support Carol Stokes at Woodvale Senior High School. |

| WINGS Event: A Garden Party |

On Saturday, 24 October, Kingsley's WINGS (Women in Gods Service)
team held A Garden Party. It was a great opportunity for women of
all ages to gather for some great gardening
tips and to enjoy a scrumptious afternoon tea.

| Sunday Night Service - "Holy Passion" |
| On Sunday 2nd
August, Kingsley's Praise Jam band were in full swing for an evening
of "Holy Passion". All who attended enjoyed a time of passionate worship, celebrating God’s goodness and
holiness. |
| Commemorative Service - 20 years in the Kingsley Church of Christ Building |
| Sunday 26th July was
an enjoyable service where we celebrated 20 years in our
building. The first service
was held on July 30th 1989.
It was good to catch up with
some early members of Kingsley Church on the day,
where we took time to celebrate
what has been a real blessing to our people and the community of
Kingsley. |

Sunday 21st June, Kingsley held a night of sport and spirituality featuring our special guest speaker, 100 game veteran West Coast Eagles player, Mark Seaby.
It was an enjoyable evening had
by all, where we explored the question - "Are all sinners sinners?"

| State Youth Games |
| Well done to the
Kingsley SYG team who came 3rd at the 2009 games. The team was also
recognised in the Banner Competition for our theme, The Bling Within
- "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also"
(Mathew 6:21). |
| Kingsley Garage Sale |
| A garage sale was
held at the Church on Saturday 23rd May. Thank you to all who
donated items in the sale. The proceeds of the garage sale will go
towards Youth Ministry at Kingsley Church of Christ. |
| Missions Quiz Night |
| Run by our Missions Committee,
the Quiz night held on Friday 8th May was well attended. We are
pleased to announce that enough money was raised to help
Pastor Ed and his family furnish
their house in the Philippines.
Thank you to all those who attended and helped to
support this worthy cause.

Convention, held on Saturday 2nd May was a big success. Thank you to
all who participated in the day and a big thank you to our speaker

| Women's Ministry Breakfast Launch |
| Kingsley Church of Christ
launched its Women's Ministry for 2009 with a pancake breakfast held on
Saturday, 14th March. With the theme of "God's Garden" , it was an enjoyable morning had by all.

Back by popular demand, the "blokes" at Kingsley Church of Christ
met together on Saturday
evening 14th March combining two great loves...barbequed sausages
